'48 Ford F1 rat-rod build

My son, Tyler, and I picked up a '48 Ford F1 today in Calistoga.   It is mostly complete and the body is in ok condition.  The floors are solid and the rust is what you would expect for a truck 62 years old.  The floors are solid with minimal rust through in the bed.  Tyler and I are going to make a rat-rod out of it. We are probably going to put a Cordoba front suspension under it for the IFS.  '75-'79 Cordoba front ends are pretty much a bold on.  Most likely going to stay with Ford running gear.  I would like a 351 Cleveland with a C6 tranny, turning a Ford 9".
We are going to take our time on the build.  So check back occasionally and see the progress.  Below are a few pictures from day #1:

Well, its the end of March and there has been a bit of progress on the '48 rat-rod.  We have decided to go with a Chevy 350 backed by a T350 tranny.  Tyler found a 4:10 posi Explorer rear end to through in the rat-rod.  We just took delivery of a rack and pinion steering box that will be installed soon.  I am learning a lot building in this project.  One thing I learned is that Tyler is a great fabricator and can make anything fit anywhere.  I also learned that everything is open to change and probably will.

Ok, I have not been keeping up on the build....bad on me!  However, my fabricator, who happens to be my son has been very busy on the build.  It is actually been out for a couple of semi-legal...ok, illegal trips on the road, and it runs great!  I'm just gonna post some new pictures of the build for your viewing pleasure.
So here goes:
